We are pleased to introduce second new member of this year’s Oskár Čepan Award jury – Christina Li.

Christina Li is a Hong Kong curator and writer who lives and works in Amsterdam. She was the former director of Spring Workshop, Hong Kong, and has taken up numerous curatorial roles at Para Site, Hong Kong; SKOR, Amsterdam; and basis voor actuele kunst, Utrecht. She was the curator of Pilvi Takala's presentation at the Pavilion of Finland at the 59th Venice Biennale, and Hong Kong's presentation of Shirley Tse's work at the 58th Venice Biennale. She has curated presentations in Europe and Asia such as Lafayette Anticipations, Paris; EMMA, Helsinki; M+, Hong Kong, Tai Kwun Contemporary, Hong Kong; Z33, Hasselt, and the second edition of Ghost 2565: Live Without Dead Time (2022)—a triennial video and performance art series in multiple locations in Bangkok. She is currently the Artistic Director of Kim Association, an Asian transnational art initiative by Yenn and Alan Lo Foundation in Singapore which will open in September 2025. Her writing is published in catalogues and in Art Review Asia, LEAP, Parkett, Spike, and Yishu Journal of Contemporary Art among others.
