Jury member of Oskár Čepan Award 2026 Vojtěch Novák is a multidisciplinary artist, independent curator, and artsbased researcher at Swiss SARN, who graduated from the UMPRUM in Prague and studied at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, AVU in Prague, and ZHdK in Zürich. Participated in exhibition formats such as documenta 14 in Kassel, Manifesta 11 in Zürich, and OFF-Biennale Budapest. Presented his works on an international level, including such venues as Castlefield Gallery in Manchester, A.C. Kupper Modern and Perla-Mode in Zürich, 41 Cooper Gallery in New York, Brooklyn's NO MOON, DOX Center for Contemporary Art, Museum of Decorative Arts, and National Gallery in Prague, or at FUTURA Center for Contemporary Art. He was a resident of Artists Unlimited at Bielefeld and at ISCP in New York. His performances were shown at Zürich's Gessnerallee, Vorbrenner 15 in Innsbruck, Polansky Gallery, and as part of Prague Quadriennale. He is a finalist for the Dutch award Jan Naaijkens Prize. Initiated the collective educational framework ABV (Studio without pedagogue) and curatorial platform PGS, focusing on offsite exhibitions. Currently, he is a programme director of GAMPA — Pardubice Kunsthalle (City gallery Pardubice).
